The BASS BMP program is great opportunity to enhance Vanessa’s leadership skills and learn more about mentorship and building a connection with all types of people. She volunteered for SFU LAUNCH in the previous fall, and that was an experience that helped her build her network and lead a small group of first years. With that in mind, BMP is another great opportunity to help others find these same opportunities as well as to grow herself. She hopes to gain some networking and leadership skills from this experience.
