Stellar still remembers the excitement she felt every time her and her trio met online when she was a mentee to share my updates about school, what she had achieved and where she was still struggling. Her mentor would always provide detailed guidance on how she could improve or try new things. Her mentor also shared what a typical workday looked like, which motivated her to study harder and pursue more co-op opportunities to gain hands-on experience like her mentor. Having been in that same position months ago, she now wants to give back to first year Beedie students by sharing her own journey- how she’s managed setbacks, achieved success, and developed strategies to navigate the school year effectively.
