Rodrigo is interested in becoming a BASS Mentorship Program mentor because he is passionate about fostering connections and supporting first-year students as they navigate their academic and social journey at SFU Beedie. His enthusiasm for the Beedie community and his own positive experiences as a student motivates him to give back by sharing his knowledge, skills, and insights. He believes mentorship is a powerful way to help first year students build confidence, explore opportunities like case competitions and affiliate clubs, and develop meaningful peer relationships. Ultimately, he wants to inspire his mentees to get involved and thrive, while growing personally and professionally through this rewarding experience
