Starting university can be overwhelming, when Rachael first joined SFU, she often felt unsure if she was doing the right thing or how she should navigate opportunities. Being part of the BASS Mentorship Program as a mentee helped her find clarity and community. The events introduced her to new paths, and to this day, she still meet with her trio. They continue to be some of her go to people whenever she needs guidance, whether it's about courses, co-op, or career decisions. Now that she’s grown through experiences in Enactus, JDC, and co-op, she wants to pay that support forward. She hopes to create a space where mentees feel encouraged to ask questions, step outside their comfort zones, and explore what excites them. She’s excited to build a trio where they learn from each other, have fun, and work through our Beedie journey.
