MATTHIAS CHUN
Matthias wants to become a BASS mentor because he’s passionate about supporting the next generation of Beedie students. Transitioning into university can be overwhelming, and he knows firsthand how valuable it is to have someone who can offer honest guidance. By sharing his experiences, both the wins and the mistakes, he hopes to help mentees avoid common pitfalls, gain confidence, and make more informed decisions about their academic and professional paths. Beyond giving back, he also hopes to grow through this experience by sharpening his leadership and communication skills. Every mentee brings a different perspective, and he believes mentorship is a two-way exchange, while he’ll be offering advice, he know he’ll also be learning a lot in return.
