Grace is interested in becoming a BMP mentor because BMP was a critical element in shaping her Beedie and university experience. She was able to expand her network through those she met in BMP, and not only did she feel more comfortable in her first year at Beedie by being able to go to her mentor with any questions she had, but she also became friends with both her mentor and co-mentee, and she still hangs out with them to this day. BMP was the reason she applied to BASS and got involved in the Beedie community. She hopes to be able to provide her mentees with the same support and encouragement that she received, as well as pass down knowledge and advice that helped her in the first year. Lastly, she wants to be a mentor so that she can meet some cool new people and carry on her support for BASS!
