Enya found her experience as a mentor last semester so incredibly rewarding. It can be daunting to be thrown into this new world of post-secondary and having someone guide you through it makes a huge difference. She wants to help her mentees find their place in Beedie and help them take advantage of opportunities like clubs and co-op. She remembers getting involved as early as week 3 of her first year and how much that has changed her university experience. Though there's no rush, she just wants them to be able to have that advantage.
