David thoroughly enjoyed being a mentor in BMP last year, it was incredibly rewarding to support his mentees’ transitions into university and see them grow. For him, this program has always been about the mentees. His goal is to inspire even one student the way his mentor once inspired him. It’s about paying it forward and passing the torch. He genuinely enjoys working with students who are eager to get involved, who are curious, and who want to make the most of their university journey. As a mentor, he hopes to create a safe, encouraging space for his mentees to learn, grow, and explore new opportunities. While the impact may seem small in the moment, he know firsthand how meaningful a single conversation or piece of advice can be. That’s the kind of support he hopes to offer again this year.
